Dredge Masters Limited, a leading provider of dredging services, seeks to recruit highly motivated, experienced and passionate professionals to work on its state of the art amphibian dredging machines. The company seeks to recruit for the roles of Dredge Operator

Job Title: Dredge Operator

Job Description   

•   Safely and professionally navigate amphibian dredger to dredge position
•   Operate dredger to remove sand, gravel, or other materials
•   To excavate and maintain navigable channels in the water ways
•   Engage hydraulic pumps, raise suction booms and control rotation of cutter heads
•   Direct or assist workers placing shore anchors and cables, laying additional pipes from the dredges etc
•   Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events or the environment to detect or assess problems

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Recognized certificate in Mechanical/Electronic engineering with marine navigation
•   Minimum of 5 years continuous working experience in similar position as a dredge operator
•   Should possess analytical skills and be able to work without or with less supervision
•   Basic working knowledge on engine and hydraulics is an advantage
•   Must be physically fit, have good eye sight and able to work for longer hours
•   Knowledge and skills in swimming will be an advantage
•   Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Access)
