Job Functions:
To monitor and analyse the condition of electrical equipment at the Bui Generating Station and advice/coordinate the effective operation and Maintenance as part of general assistance to the activities of the Electrical Maintenance Manager.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   BSc (Electrical/Electronics  Engineering  Degree) with  6 years post qualification experience, including National Service,
•   At least 4 years satisfactory performance as Assistant Engineer in a plant maintenance function.
•   Success in a competitive selection process.

Competencies:

•   Knowledge  of  Power  infrastructural  Projects  development  or  Power  Systems Operation and Maintenance.
•   Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of Power System Components with
•   particular reference to Electrical Equipment.
•   Good understanding of the basic concepts of maintenance of engineering systems facilities and equipment.
•   Knowledge of Business Planning and Budgeting.
•   Ability to write technical reports.
•   Computer literacy skills (Applicable software package).
•   Very good numeracy, analytical and engineering conceptualization skills,
•   Good apprehension of technical systems in general.
