Qualification Required & Experience

They require an individual with SPECIFIC experience and expertise in the Commissioning and Testing of equipment in the Primary yard of a substation.

•   The successful candidate will be competent enough to do the Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
•   They will have in-depth knowledge of current transformers, incomers, isolators, earth switches, circuit breakers, voltage transformers, power transformers, AC and DC boards, step up transformers and breakers.
•   They will be responsible and have to make sure that the core commissioning is completed and that the yard is safe to go live.
•   The successful commissioning engineer will HAVE to test the Primary equipment and the switchgear but not necessarily the control board and switchboard.
