Poised to take our next steps in terms of expansion and growth, we are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented and experienced professional to take up the following position:- Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Reports to: Plant Maintenance Manager

Your Accountabilities amongst others, will include:-

•  Manage the electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities and programmes which include installation, repair, calibrations and maintenance to improve line performance and product availability
•  Oversee all preventive, condition base, and breakdown maintenance programmes for the section
•  Evaluate and modifies preventive maintenance programmes to the cost effective and efficient to improve equipment availability
•  Provide calibration plans and execution to keep all plant instrumentation equipment within standards
•  Assist in planning, preparation and execution of annual overhaul of equipment within the working area to improve efficiency and extend the life span of equipment
•  Manage and develop associates in the section
•  Oversee the activities of third party contractors to ensure adherence to contract specifications and company Health safety and environmental standards
•  Oversee the implementation of security, safety and disaster recovering programmes for the section
•  Prepare daily, weekly and monthly report on all maintenance activities in the section

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Have BSc in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
•  Minimum of five (5) years successful experience in managing production in a high speed facility
•  Demonstrated people and leadership skills within track record of achieving positive business results
•  Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and good understanding of statistical process control
•  Proficient in use of Microsoft suite – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint etc.
