Job Title: Engine Room Technician

Job Description   

•   Maintenance and servicing of the dredge engine
•   Determines engine condition at all times by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
•   Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion etc
•   Correct deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling etc. and maintain records by making notes of services and repairs
•   Monitor consumption of diesel oil, lubrication oil, water and ensure that adequate quantities are available

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A diploma / Certificate from a recognized Institution
•   Must have at least 5 continuous years of experience in operating in a similar job role
•   Ability to adapt to unfamiliar processes and situations with minimal review/supervision
•   Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point,Outlook, Access)
