Job Vacancy For Executive Director
A highly reputable network institution is seeking resourceful, results oriented team player for the position:- Executive Director
Job Purpose
To ensure efficient and effective management and administration of the Organisation and impplement the decisions of the Executive Committee (EC) for the attainment of the objects of the Organisation
Key Responsibility are to:
• Ensures the day-to-day administration and management of the organisation
• Acts as a direct liaison between the EC on behalf of Management
• Offers tailored and expert advice to the EC on all matters relating to the organisation
• Ensures the organisation is appropriately organised and staffed and has the authority, in consultation with the EC, to hire and fire staff as necessary
• 3.5: Oversees the fiscal and/or other committees and facilitates discussions and deliberations
• Ensures effective and efficient management of stakeholder relationships and reconciles potential conflicts of interest
• Leads the development of sustainable partnership with local, international, government and Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs) with similar aims and objectives
• Ensures the development and enforcement of an effective system of discipline and
• Performs other duties as assigned by the EC
• Scal activities of the Organisation including budgeting, reporting and audit in accordance with the prevailing financial regulations
• Ensures the preparation and submission to the EC, annual and other reports of the Organisation
• Ensures a sustainable collaboration among members of the organisation and partnership with supervising agencies for the benefit of members and the association
• Leads the development and implementation of the Organisation's strategic plans and programmes and ensures the implementation of decisions of the EC
• Supervises and appraises subordinates
• Identifies challenges and opportunities of the organisation and addresses them, brings those which are appropriate to the EC.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of postgraduate degree with a minimum of fifteen (15) years post qualification experience, five(5) years of which must be in Senior Management.
• A post-graduate degree and experience in banking, financial administration and/or accounting will be an advantage

• Good knowledge of Ghana's NGO and business environment
• Extensive leadership, networking, planning and management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Negotiating, lobbying, advocacy and conflict resolution skills
• Good knowledge of organisational development and team building
• Good knowledge of finance, procurement, budgeting and auditing regulations
• Good working knowledge of computer applications
• Good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies
• Strategic planning, quantitative and analytical skills
• Creative and independent problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach to opportunities and challenges
