Stop TB Ghana Partnership invites applicants with experience, positive attitude and professional competencies for the position of Executive Secretary.
Job Summary:
The Executive Secretary will serve as the primary point for leadership and strategic guidance for the Stop TB Ghana Partnership (STBGH), collaborating across the Secretariat and with external partners. She/he would provide the STBGH with expert guidance on all administrative and operational matters and liaising closely with key partners to maximize the Stop TB Ghana Partnership's contribution to the fight against TB.
Key Responsibilities:
• The Executive Secretary shall coordinate the strategic planning and programme development and implementation of the Partnership
• Lead in fundraising and resource mobilisation for the Partnership
• Work closely with the Board to support identification of technical assistance needs of STBGH programmatic activities and to facilitate optimal partner engagement around investment reprogramming and/or implementation of activities
• Support the STBG's efforts to strengthen collaboration and interaction with key external partners
• Contribute to the development of regular STBGH reports, publications, press releases and other advocacy or informative materials
• Perform other duties to be assigned by the STBGH Board
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelors degree with 3 years experience
• Considerable experience in the area of managing health-related networks
• Basic knowledge in programme design and implementation, research and policy development
• An understanding of the international health arena and direct exposure to health environments both at national and international levels
• Knowledge of TB prevention, care and support preferable
• Knowledge of Global Fund issues preferable
• Understanding of Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) preferable
• An excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French
• Comfortable and capable public speaker
• High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
