Purpose of Position:
The primary objective of this role is to provide field expertise in troubleshooting and maintenance of the company's mobile equipment including excavator, wheel loader, forklift, sidewinder, crew boat and Triton's recently developed SHARCTM shallow water harvesting system. This includes developing maintenance and troubleshooting documentation, carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs to this equipment to ensure high levels of equipment availability.

Brief Description of Responsibilities:

•   Conduct activities in accordance with Corporate Policy and TRITON Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
•   Ensure that all activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, professional and ethical standards,
•   Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all relevant data and systems;
•   Attend appropriate team meetings and provide constructive feedback and support to other team members;
•   Maintain a positive relationship with department heads in both Triton's Corporation Office as well as in subsidiary offices as they are established through constructive feedback, assistance and provision of various reports;
•   Maintain professional awareness of overall developments in the field of assigned areas by literature review, attendance at professional meetings, conferences and seminars etc

Qualification Required & Experience

Technical Skills/Background:

•   Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair which includes the ability to read electronic/hydraulic schematics
•   Communications and Network Troubleshooting and Repairs which includes working knowledge of Ethernet, RS485, and RS232
•   Working experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC systems
•   Knowledge and experience working with AC voltages up to 230 VAC
•   Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
•   Welding and fabricating
•   Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
•   Ability to install and perform software updates
•   Develop and document troubleshooting procedures and maintenance documentation
•   Conduct and document preventative maintenance, including oil changes, greasing, water contamination, and visual inspections for worn parts, cable and hose damage
•   Excellent written and spoken communication skills
•   Maintain and update field documentation for mobile equipment, including operator manual, safety manual, mechanical drawings, and electrical/hydraulic schematics
•   Responsible for training others on maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
