Job Vacancy For Financial Reporting Manager At Swift Worldwide Resources



Main Duties & Responsibilities:

•   Provide technical, managerial and professional leadership for a growing and dynamic financial reporting unit within oil and gas multinational company
•   Maintain financial records of companies, branches and joint ventures to ensure that fiscal and industry standards are met
•   Responsible for ensuring that statutory reporting, audit and filing requirement deadlines are met
•   Liaise with internal staff, group statutory partners, government auditors and joint venture partners
•   Ensure all required reconciliations are prepared in accordance with finances, policies and procedures
•   Compile financial statements and accounting files accurately
•   Implement financial policies and procedures
•   Book all net interest accurately in company records
•   Generate Ghana branch accounts for company
•   Accurately record Sole and Corporate costs in company financial records
•   Review and develop accounting computer system
•   Supervise, educate, train, mentor and work on staff development within the accounting team
•   Play lead role in the implementation of SAP system

Qualification Required & Experience

•   7 - 10 years of experience in joint venture accounting
•   First Degree Qualified in professional accounting body
•   Oil & Gas, mining or refinery experience
•   Knowledge of Oil and Gas fiscal regime
•   A proven and demonstrable background in joint venture financial accounting
•   Fully knowledgeable in all aspects of Microsoft Office, SunAccount, Congnos and SAP
•   Eligible to work in Accra, Ghana in this permanent staff position
