Major Responsibilities:
To assist Senior Geotechnical Engineer in collecting geotechnical related data for carrying out investigations into producing and planned mining blocks, capital projects etc.

Details of Duties and Responsibilities:

. Assist in carrying out geotechnical investigations of various activities
. Collect relevant geotechnical data including Rock Mass Quality data for various Mining Blocks
. Carry out ground support design e.g. Cable bolt support
. Assist in carry out ground support quality control and audit
. Collect information on backfill for various stopes. Assist in carrying out quality control, where necessary
. Assist in monitoring ground conditions, stope and support performance

Qualification Required & Experience
. BSc - Mining (Geotechnical Engineering)
. At least One (1) year working experience in a similar capacity
