A leading financial institution seeks to fill some vacancy and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:- Group Head, Retail Banking

Reports directly to the Managing Director

Main Responsibilities include

•   Formulating and implementing the Bank's overall Retail Banking strategy and ensuring a bank wire culture that emphasizes a strong marketing and profit orientation
•   Generating and developing businesses and ensuring overall competitiveness of all branches in the respective markets the bank operates, and optimal utilization of resources to achieve desired profitability and goals
•   Developing products and services targeted at identified and visible segments of the retail market to achieve bank's dominant positioning in the market
•   Supporting and supervising business development and relationship management activities of Retail Cluster Heads and Branch Managers
•   Growing the Retail Banking Group's market share of relevant business in line with targets set by the Bank's Management
•   Providing strategic leadership and direction for the Bank's Retail Banking sector towards the realization of the Bank's objectives and goals

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A first degree or equivalent in any discipline. Relevant professional certificates in Banking such as ACIB or others (Higher Degrees/Professional Certification an advantage)

Experience

•   Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in a management role in Retail/Consumer Banking.
