A leading financial institution is seeking to recruit an experienced individual to fill the position as:- Head of Asset Management

Key Responsibilities

•   Provide strong and positive leadership and direction to the Asset Management team
•   Responsible for growing the fund management business
•   Develop and implement a clear strategic direction for the department
•   Prepare asset management strategy and its associated policies
•   Ensure full adherence to statutory, regulatory and compliance requirements
•   Ensure continuous improvement on all asset management functions
•   Promote effective partnership with all relevant stakeholders
•   Develop and deliver the highest quality standards of customer service

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance or Economics

Competencies

•   Strong managerial and supervisory skills
•   Mature judgment, high degree of initiative and responsibility
•   Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
•   Must be conversant with government business
•   Have good human relations
•   Ability to meet deadlines

Experience

•   A minimum of five (5) years experience of direct relevant work

Remuneration: Attractive remuneration packages commensurate with the position.
