A leading Non Bank Financial Institution is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced persons with drive and innovation for the following roles:-  Head Of Finance

Responsibilities

•   Work with the General Manager to provide stategic financial input in support of the organsiation's activities and development.
•   Provide effective financial management and control over the assets, liabilities and cash flows of the organisation\
•   Deliver top quality management commentary and analysis on R&L, cash flows and balance sheet
•   Prepare annual budgets and forecasting reports
•   Ensure statutory books of accounts are kept up-to-date and all relevant financial returns are filed in good time
•   Ensure with other departments to ensure budget with other department to ensure budget compliance
•   Maintain and develop fit-for-purpose financial systems and processes
•   Produce accurate and timely management information
•   Plan and manage cash flows and tax obligations
•   Maintain relationships with Banks, external auditors, Bank of Ghana officials etc.
•   Proactively manage company performance against Bank of Ghana benchmarks and bank covenants
•   Maintain contacts and to have extensive and effective liaison with the board
•   Any other duties that may be assigned from  time-to-time

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience.

•   An ACCA, ICA (GH), CIMA level qualification with demonstrable post qualification experience in a similar Head of Finance role within a financial institution, with the ability to influence cross functionality and manage relationships with key internal and external parties
•   An MBA or an MSc qualification in Accounting & Finance, Banking and Finance or Finance will be an added advantage
•   Extensive experience of running a finance department for an organization with a complex range of activities and products
•   Strong technical background with a robust commercial experience
•   Hands-on people training and development
•   Five years minimum relevant post qualification experience in a Bank, Savings and Loans Company or Finance House
