Key Responsibilities

The Head of Operations is responsible for the effective management of banking operations; overseeing branch operations, establishment and management of the customer care platform. The responsiblilities for the Head of Operations will include but will not be limited to the following.

•  Overseeing Banking issues with regards to the Bank's products
•  Supervising activities of departments directly reporting to him/her
•  Hiring new staff and promoting staff as needed
•  Preparing and presenting quarterly or monthly reports on the bank's products
•  Managing the documentation and assessment of various loans and their potential risks and benefits to the bank
•  Supporting local businesses and new and unique businesses within the community.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

•  A relevant first degree in Business administration, banking and finance, Accounting or any other social sciences
•  MBA (Finance/Banking/Management or other related postgraduate qualifications will be added advantage
•  Minimum of 12 years experience in banking operations
•  Sound written & verbal communication skills
•  Must possess a high sense of integrity
•  Must be computer literate
•  Strong analytical and disciplined approach to documenting processes
