Job Vacancy For Hostel Manager At TF Properties Ltd



Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of a Hotel Manager in a reputable organization.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•  Directing daily operations and ensuring that the Hostel facilities and premises are in good condition.
•  Managing service contracts for maintenance/repairs, janitorial, security, horticultural, fumigation, air-condition, standby generator and other facilities.
•  Conducting daily, routine and periodic physical inspections of the Hostel with the view of identifying problems/defects before they escalate. Respond to guest and staff feedback regarding malfunctioning items
•  Ensure prompt payment of all outgoings
•  Implement procedures to ensure continuous flow of water at the hostel
•  Be responsible for sales and marketing of the Hostel in line with the broad accommodation policies.
•  Put in place a system for check-in and check-out for all residents and maintain a resident's book at all times
•  Responsible for Safety, Health and Environmental issues of the Hostel in all dealings with residents, contractors, service providers and the general public
•  Preparation of monthly report on the performance of the Hostel for the attention of management.
•  Establish and maintain an operational budget and maintain records of all expenses and revenue
•  Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives

Qualification Required & Experience

•  BSc Land Economy with 3 years experience or HND in Estate Management with 5 years experience.
•  Membership of Ghana Institution of Surveyors is a must.
