The Presbyterian Centre for Vocational Instructors' Development (PRECEVID) is a centre of Excellence to train Professionals for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in Ghana.

Job Summary:

PRECEVID is a new and still evolving centre located in Kumasi and seeks dedicated, energetic and competent persons to occupy position in the Hospitality Unit.

Role:

•  Performs housekeeping and cleaning functions
•  Operates standard procedures in the steps involved in the daily routine of the cleaning of guestrooms, other areas of the hotel and the laundry
•  Keeps the hotel area clean and in orderly condition all the time
•  Ensures housekeeping maintenance and checklist up-to-date
•  Prepares daily room and maintenance reports
•  Launder and iron guests clothing as well as linen

Qualification Required & Experience

City and Guilds Part II or NVTI Gd. I in Housekeeping or HOTCATT Intermediate Cert. in Housekeeping or related qualification in the hospitality training with some working experience in the hospitality industry

Competencies:

•  Displays good interpersonal and communication skills
•  Demonstrates knowledge in the accepted practices of housekeeping
