Our company, a reputable fabrication company in the oil and gas industry located in Takoradi, invites applications from qualified persons to fill the following position:- HSE Manager

Summary Of Key Responsibilities

Under the direct Supervision of the Project Leader, the qualified person will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

•   Helps determine the project leader's health safety and environment policy and goals and relays them to all staff
•   Implements an action plan and HSE indicators
•   Organises HSE management system audits carried out by customers or any other entity (internal and external)
•   Registers and tracks corrective actions arising from audits, workplace accident enquiries, feedback from near incidents/near accidents, discussions, safety challenge, etc
•   May halt a worksite in the event of an observed confirmed risk(s) or non-compliance with the rules/safety instructions
•   Manages and monitors workplace accidents and liaises with the Head Office (declaration, analysis, restricted duties, etc.)
•   Heads and coordinates the staff under his or her management
•   organises and checks the budget monitoring for his or her department
•   Manages all staff on his or her team

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A masters degree in Environmental Science or any relevant discipline, and NEBOSH IGC or its equivalent
•   Applicants must have ten (10) years minimum working experience with five(5) years in O&G in HSE department
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
•   Minimum age requirement is 35 years
