A reputable and leading financial institution in Ghana is seeking for qualified personnel to fill the following position:- Human Resource Officer
Role Specification
• The HR Operations Officer is responsible to implement, manage and execute various HR functions which include Selection and Recruitment, Performance Management benefits and provide support for Staff training and Development to support the smooth operations and to achieve HR Goals and Objectives
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Human Resource database and records system.
• Coordinate with Business Partners to ensure all People issues are handled expeditiously and in line with approved policy guidelines
• Monitor the actual Head Count of the organisation, prepare monthly manning reports to functional heads and ensure that all new hires, transferss, promotions, upgrades and terminations are updated
• Co-ordinate/administer employees leave programm across all business units and prepare monthly reports
• Capture data on to the HR software for easy reporting and retrieval of data
• Handle/respond to HR emguiries from staff and business units within prescribed limits of authority
• Receives/handle internal/external correspondence for HR department and advice H/HR and/or other managers/team members accordingly
• Keep track of HR cost in line with budget and report on deviations as appropriate
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of first degree in HR or related field with 3 years experience in related role
• Knowledge understanding of HR systems and practices
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Good knowledge and understanding of People management
