Job Vacancy For Human Resources and Administration Associate At Ipas Ghana



Ipas, an international not-for-profit organisation that has, for four decades, been working globally to improve women’s lives through a focus on reproductive health, is seeking skilled professionals to work with Ghana country team in the above position.

The Human Resource and Administration Associate is responsible for managing human resources and related issues, general office administration, IT, facility management and travel coordination for the Ipas Ghana Office. The HR and Admin Associate is a core member of the team and will assist in effective and efficient implementation of the programme within the country. She/he will work closely with all team members in implementing activities aimed at achieving programme goals/objectives.

General Duties Include:

•   Facilitate the sourcing for and hiring of staff and consultants;
•   Facilitate execution of employment and contract letters, facilitate orientation of new staff, assist in managing staff benefit package, ensure the smooth functioning of the office, equipment and processes.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Administration with at least 4 years of professional work experience preferably with an international NGO. A Masters’ qualification in Human Resources will be an added advantage
•   Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with staff, consultants and stakeholders
•   High level skill in interpersonal relationship management
•   Demonstrable ability to maintain confidentiality
•   Attention to detail, well organised, ability to assume broad responsibilities for complex administrative functions
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows Operating System
•   Ability to manage IT infrastructure along with minimal troubleshooting
•   Fluency in written and spoken English
•   Ability to organise people and activities
