Miro Forestry Ghana Limited is a sustainable forestry plantation developer and manufacturer of timber products. The company has its offices located at Drobonso, Sekyere Afram Plains District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and plantations near Agogo and Mampoing. We are currently seeking an: Industrial Mechanic

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaises with the Maintenance Manager / Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer to ensuring installation, breakdowns, faults and repair is carried out efficiently and supervision of the Maintenance Technicians
• Inspect, maintain and repair industrial equipment and machinery to ensure they are always in proper working order
• Record all maintenance and repair services performed, and keep track of all materials and part used during the repair process
• Assist in the maintenance team spares and consumables inventory to be maintained with minimum stock for the machines and maintenance works
• Co-ordinates for all activities related to operation and maintenance
• Housekeeping of the workshop & plant machine's surroundings to keep them neat & clean
• Ensures compliance with all company health and safety rules / regulations without exception

Qualification Required & Experience

• At least 5 years of hands on experience in industrial maintenance
• Thorough knowledge/skills and experience in maintenance field
• Good supervisory skills, quick planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure and beyond normal working hours
• Honest, able to command and delegate duties
• HND / MET III/FTC (Mechanical)
• Computer skills will be an advantage
