La Community Bank LTD, seeks to employ suitably qualified persons for the following position: Information Technology Manager

Job Summary

• Leads the IT team in the development and implementation of information systems to enhance operations by driving efficiency with technology4
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end user impact, change management, training and quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and results delivered

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of a first degree in computer science, computer engineering and management information system or in any related field
• Relevant professional certification in essential e.g CCNP, MCP, OCP
• At least 7 years experience in a similar role preferably in a rural/community bank

Knowledge and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of banking operations and a core banking software e.g bankmill or T24.
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Database technologies - SQL Oracle,
• Good working knowledge of network and systems Administration - Windows, Linux, Novell
• Knowledge in enterprise database systems
• Understanding of the Data Protection Act and other related legislations, standards and codes of practice in the industry
• Good working knowledge of information risk analysis/management
