Job Purpose

• To research more on innovation ideas and how to impacts service provision. The role holder will be required to engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide data on innovation impacts to the innovation unit.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the development of innovation strategies and plan new interventions that will drive innovation through research
• Develop innovative research focuses on creating new ideas, analyzing problems, diagnosing them and identifying their causes
• Provide support to engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance innovative thinking around the organisation
• Provide research support for the innovation hubs
• Support the operationalisation of innovation research activities through product design, roll out and execution
• Provide research support to enhance the innovative potential of the organisation
• Contribute to the preparation of deliverables, including programmatic or activity reports, overviews, briefs, communication materials etc

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS) any other relevant field
• Possession of a relevant industry skills based certification would be an added
• Solid understanding of innovation and how it should be applied in the organisation
• A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience as an Innovation research strategist in a reputable organisation
• Strong business acumen and presentation skills
• Forward-thinking and adaptable to dynamic situations
• Solid grasp of Agile values, principles and methodologies
• Must have completed mandatory National Service
