A Media organisation is seeking to recruit professional and innovative individuals with the imagination and determination to deliver a clear direction and excellent services to its customers / clients and other stakeholders as follows: Internal Audit Manager

Key Accountabilities

• Understake ayduts ti ensure the Group meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives
• Supporting the development of an assurance planning reporting process
• Reporting on control deficiencies and making recommendations to mitigate risk and add value
• Assessing current proccesses across the company and identifying opportunities for refinement
• Engaging remediation of identified issues through follow up
• Playing an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices
• Lead team of audit staff to execute audit engagement

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, commerce or related field from a recognised institution
• 5 years experience in an audit function
• Member of a recognised professional Accountancy body, preferably ACCA, ICAG, IIA

Technical Competencies / Abilities

• Knowledge of audit procedures
• An appreciable knowledge on IFRS
• Ability to risk assessment and mitigation measures
• Ability to prepare audit reports
• Ability to use audit software
• Ability to establish audit control procedures
• Ability to engage with different levels of the workforce
• Strong ethical values
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
