A public institution has vacancy for an Internal Auditor to perform the following duties:

Job Summary

• Ensure the development and implementation of internal audit work plan
• Prepare internal audit reports on the organisation and submit recommendations
• Undertake audit verification assignments
• Prepare and submit audit findings
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers for jobs assigned
• Develop internal audit programmes and procedures
• Undertake business risk assessments and internal audit planning strategies
• Identify weak control areas and develop effective corrective measures

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related field from an accredited tertiary institution
• A member of a recognised professional accounting or auditing body such as ICAG, ACCA, CPA, CIMA
• A minimum of 2 years post professional qualification work experience in a reputable institution
• Must have completed National Service
