Purpose Of Role:

Be responsible for the architecture and design of the IP/MPLS backbone and fixed access network. Be recognised as an authority for the Implementation of the Vodafone Ghana IP/MPLS Backbone and Fixed Access Network. It includes advising and ensuring adherence to best practice in the design and operation of IP/MPLS networks. It also includes responsibility for specifying, testing and assurance of each new network release before it is deployed in the Vodafone Ghana IP/MPLS network.

Person Specification:

•  1st degree and/or professional qualifications in a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience; CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE or JNCIP for example
•  Demonstrated leadership (internal and external) in chosen field
•  Good interpersonal and team working skills
•  Ability to impact and influence at all levels
•  Experience of planning, architecture, design, integration, acceptance
•  Experience in Project and Process management
•  Experience of budget management
Excellent I.T. and database skills. (MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio etc.)
