Description Of Job
World Vision Ghana (WVG) is looking for a highly qualified, proactive, motivated and resourceful person to fill the above position.
Reports to: IT Manager
Purpose of the position:
To Support and maintain the day-to-day operations of hardware and business applications in use by World Vision - Ghana through the provision of a client-oriented service.
Major Responsibilities:
• Plan and maintain a call tracking system and to evaluate hardware and business applications in the Base and ADPs to ensure that they are operating optimally
• Setup, install (softwares and security tools), troubleshoot and configure all end-user computers and related equipment in the Base and ADP Offices
• Provide support to resolve all data and voice communication and related problems in the Base and ADP offices by working in collaboration with ADP point persons and vendors
• Liaise with Head Office IT team to ensure optimum availability of Internet and WAN Links at the Base and ADP Offices
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT and related hardware and software in the ADPs and the Base Office
• Generates monthly reports and Collaborates with ADP Managers to assess their support requirements at the beginning of each FY
Qualification Required & Experience
Job Specification:
• Educational level required: A university degree in BSC Computer Science or related field
• Technical Training qualifications required: Any of A+ certification, MCP, Network+
• 2 years' working experience and another 2 within WV will be an added advantage
• A good understanding of remote connectivity via the Internet
• A good understanding of hard and software troubleshooting techniques
• Good client liaison capabilities and ability to train end-users
