Description Of Job

World Vision Ghana (WVG) is looking for a highly qualified, proactive, motivated and resourceful persons to fill the above position.

Reports to: Director, Ministry Quality & Strategy

Job Summary:
To lead and coordinate knowledge management in the National Office (NO) in order to facilitate organizational learning, innovation, documentation of best practices and change at all levels towards more effective operations and use of better practice techniques in realizing child well being outcomes.

Major Responsibilities:

•  Develop, review and implement knowledge Management Strategy, guidelines and Policies
•  Establish and manage World Vision Ghana Ghana soft and hard library
•  Maintain and Manage a database that capture standardized methodologies and alignment with WVI Knowledge Management systems and processes
•  Relationship building with stakeholders - internal and external (DME Unit, Sector Specialists, Advocacy, Communications, Finance, Communities, Government and other external stakeholders)
•  Coordinate and manage all Programme Management Information System (Horizon) Activities
•  Ensure that knowledge assets and knowledge management solutions and systems support Organizational needs and provide an easily accessible source of inform the reporting process
•  Lead in the contextualization and application of all partnership and regional initiatives in the National Office, Divisions, Departments and ADPs

Qualification Required & Experience

Person Specification:
Minimum Educational level required: University Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics or any related field.

Preferred Educational Requirement:

•  Technical Training qualifications required: Professional technical skill desired (certification?) Certificate in Information Systems and Knowledge Management
•  Experience: 3 years of practical experience in Program Management, report writing and publications field

Other: Computer skills and database management skills, M&E methods and approaches, Document review and report writing skills are is preferred
