The British High Commission, Technical Works Group has a vacancy for LE IV Stores and Administrative Assistant.
Overall Purpose:
Assist the Stock Controller in the running of the TW Store. Provide general administrative support to the TW Controller and TW Administrator allowing them to focus on quality and efficiency of their respective functions
Reporting To; The Stock Controller
Main Duties:
• Maintain paper and computer stores records
• Assist the Stock Controller with stores issues and receipts
• Maintain the technical works request log
• Be a requisitioner on the Oracle (computer based) procurement system
• General administrative duties as required
Information for applicants:
• The monthly salary range for LE4 positions in the BHC is GHS 801.00 (rising in increments of GHc33 based on performance to a maximum of GHS 1,263.00) The starting salary for this position is GHS 801.00
• The appointment will be offered initially for one year, and subject to the satisfactory completion of a probationary period. Thereafter, the appointment may be extended based on operational needs.
Qualification Required & Experience
The skills/attributes of the successful applicant will include:
• Must have passed WASSCE or SSSCE
• Good IT skills (MS Office applications)
• Having a technical background and/or knowledge of common building parts and materials would be an advantage

• Capable of working diligently and accurately
• Well organised and able to prioritise work
• Show flexibility over working hours
