Job Vacancy For Legal Assistant At Graphic Communications Group Ltd



We are looking for a self-motivated individual to fill the following position: Legal Assistant

Key Accountabilities

•  Prepare Agreements
•  Vet news stories and advertisements for legal implications before publication
•  Administer the company's insurance schemes
•  Liaise with the Registrar-General's department for filing of various returns
•  Filing of various documents at the law courts
•  Assist with the recovery of debts
•  Perfection of landed properties
•  Research and update management on new laws and regulations likely to affect operations of the company
•  Act as secretary to various management disciplinary and investigative committees
•  Assist with Board secretarial duties
•  Any other duties assigned by the solicitor secretary

Skills / Competencies

•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Good report writing and minute writing skills
•  Analytical with an eye for detail
•  Strong computer literacy skills
•  Ability to use judgement, tact and discretion
•  Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules and regulations relative to the work

Qualification Required & Experience

•  1st Degree in Law (LLB) with at least 2 years post qualification experience
