Job Summary
The West African Examinations Council, a sub-regional organisation responsible for the conduct of a variety of examinations in the English-speaking West African countries, invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant position at its Ghana National Office.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of the Legal Unit and be expected to perform the following duties among others:
• Drafting/reviewing contracts and other legal documents;
• Conduct research on Legal issues;
• Representing the Council in court and before quasi-judicial bodies;
• Serving as member of Staff Investigation Committees;
• Providing support to the Head of the legal unit and other divisions/departments to achieve the Council's objectives;
• Performing other duties that may be assigned
Qualification Required & Experience
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicant must have a good University degree and professional qualification in law and be a practicing advocate of the High Court of Ghana with at three years experience
