Job Vacancy For Maintenance Manager
Our company "Cements de I'Afrique Ghana LTD" (CIMAF Ghana Ltd) is a cement manufacturing company located at the Freezone Enclave in Tema, Ghana and operating in over 13 African countries.
Job Description
• Drawing up a maintenance policy with regard to the life cycle of the company and its objectives of performance
• Ensuring the preparation of budget for investment and for maintenance operations and piloting its execution (follow-up of the indicators of activities of the service, reporting)
• Organising and improving maintenance of the industrial facilities (investment, adaptation of the production machines)
• Negotiating with the technical director the necessary resources (human, technical, financial, time limit) for the implementation of the maintenance policy
• Securing the availability of the plants on daily basis and respecting the productivity objectives of the service (management of the iterative faults, improvement of the technical offer)
• Taking charge of the technical projects of te site (maintenance of the materials, new works, computer management of the intervention and the technical documents etc)
• Implementing the preventive maintenance programmes (control, corrective operations, projected maintenance)
• Ensuring the curative maintenance of the equipment and intervening in technical assistance as expert (emergency intervention, in case of breakdown)
• Piloting the preparation and the annual works of shutdown, estimation of the necessary labour force, programmes of interventions, needs in spare parts
• Analysing the frequent breakdowns as part of group work and proposition of corrective actions
• Managing and follow up on the contracts of subc-contractors
• Leading and coordinating the maintenance teams (electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, PDR warehouse)
• Managing the means and the resources of the maintenance (sharing and posting of the men and the materials)
• Implementing and following up on the indicators related to the activity of the service (technical indicators, financial reports)
• Following up on the execution of the investments and the new works in accordance with the budget
• Anticipating and managing the impacts of the maintenance activities on environment and safety through the audits faults hunt
• Securing the quality of service deliveries of maintenance and industrial activity in line with the statutory standards or the quality standards in force
• Enforcing the policy of CIMAF in terms of safety, hygiene and of environment
Qualification Required & Experience
• Candidates must have Master's or Degree in Engineering, additional training or courses attended with a minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar field.
• Experience in a cement manufacturing company will be an advantage
