Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill the above vacancy. The person selected would be in charge of the Credit Recovery Unit.

Job Analysis:
Supervision and control of all activities of the Unit.

Duties:

•  Lead and manage the Credit Recovery Unit of the Bank
•  Develop a comprehensive Recovery Plan and Strategies for approval by management
•  Recommend and Development Programmes for the Recovery Staff
•  Liaise with the Credit and the Microfinance Departments in our recovery efforts
•  Work hand in hand with the Branch Managers on all recovery issues
•  Manage records on recoveries, legal and other court documents
•  Liaise with the Bank's Lawyer on all credit matters and cases pending at the courts
•  Handle the Credit Referencing processes for the bank
•  Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports on all matters relating to recoveries
•  The Manager of the Credit Recovery Unit shall report to the Head of Credit

Qualification Required & Experience

Person Specification:

•  Degree Holder in Accounting/Statistics/Banking and Finance or ACCA II or ACIB
•  Very good interpersonal and communication skills
•  Team player
•  Work without supervision
•  Minimum of five years in a financial institution and must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the Lenders and Borrowers Act as well as the Credit Reporting Act, 2007 (Act 726)
