Job Summary:
Manage, direct and oversee the activities of accounts receivable, accounts payable, petty cash and travel advances; with an objective of ensuring adherence to defined policies, procedures and controls within assigned location.
Job Role
• Perform reviews and verification of transactions across areas like Petty Cash, Sales Commission, Customer Credit Management and Business Advances
• Conduct verification for petty cash balance as per defined frequency in MTN policy
• Review outstanding advances report of employee and analyse extent of advances recoverable from payroll
• Verify and approve commission reports
• Manage, analyse and approve request from customer on hold on waiver of 'hold' status
• Validate findings of transaction verification through input validation, documentation evidence, business rationale understanding and discussion with relevant stakeholders
• Provide guidance and support to Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Petty Cash, Accounts Payable and other Administrators
• Manage correction of errors noted in transactions by agreeing action plan with relevant stakeholders
• Provide adhoc assistance and guidance on any process related issue under Finance
• Liaise with SSC, CoE and Group for any localisations to policies and processes
Act as Opco point of contact to various SSC and CoE users within assigned location

Qualification Required & Experience
Education
• A Degree in Finance.
• A professional qualification in ACCA/CA/CIB is an added advantage
Experience
• 5 years of relevant experience with at least three years in a supervisory role in a similar role
