The Securities and Exchange Commission, a statutory body responsible for regulating the securities industry in Ghana to ensure, inter alia the orderly, fair and equitable dealing in securities, invites qualified Ghanaians for the above post.

Duties:
The applicant will report to the Head, Legal and will assist with:

• Ensuring compliance by market operators of the provisions of the Securities Industry Law including licensing, surveilling appropriate registers
• Handling all litigations for and on behalf of the Commission
• Ensuring that the Commission complies with all its statutory requirements under the securities industry laws
• Acts as Legal Counsel for the Commission during administrative hearings of the Commission
• Enforcement of the Commission's powers under the Securities Industry Law
• Board Secretarial Duties

Qualification Required & Experience

The applicants should have the following qualifications:

• BL with a minimum of 6 years post qualification working experience
• A Master's Degree in a relevant field will be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in securities regulation
• Must be computer literate
