Job Vacancy For Manager Of Finance and Capital At Securities and Exchange Commission



The Securities and Exchange Commission, a statutory body responsible for regulating the securities industry in Ghana to ensure, inter alia the orderly, fair and equitable dealing in securities, invites qualified Ghanaians for the above post.

Duties:
The applicant will report to the Head, Finance and Capital and will assist with:

• Preparation, examination and analysis of accounting records and financial statements
• Assessing accuracy, completeness and conformity of accounting records of reporting and procedural standards
• Analysing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to project future revenues and expenses
• Prepare and report on periodic financial statements of the Commission to Management
• Supervise the reporting of all transactions regarding revenue and expenditure on quarterly and yearly basis
• Analyse financial statements of market operators to ensure compliance with capital adequacy requirements

Qualification Required & Experience

The applicants should have the following qualifications:

• BSc Administration (Accounting) or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 9 years post qualification experience; or
• CA/ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
• MBA Accounting/Finance will be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in securities market operation is desirable
• Must be computer literate
