Key Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the Manager, Trade Finance will include but not be limited to the following

•  Proactively promote market, sell and execute to clients trade finance solutions, evolving around traditional trade solutions (Documentary Export and import LCs, SBLCs, Guarantees and related confirmation, discount)
•  Proactively promote market, sell and execute supply chian management solution (inventory receivables and payables) and structured trade Finance (Import Loans, Pre-Export Loans, Asset base lending, borrowing base loans)
•  Market electronic banking platforms and contribute to their evolution
•  Develop close relationship with clients and present solutions to selected prospects.

Requirements

•  A relevant first degree in Business administration, Banking and Finance, Accounting or any other social sciences.
•  MBA in Finance / Economics / Banking
•  At least ten (10) years of demonstrated management experience
•  Excellent time management skills
•  Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
•  Must possess a high sense of integrity
•  Proven comprehensive banking or similar finance experience with a good general knowledge of international business and its practices
•  Proven track record of identifying, negotiating and structuring complex trade transactions across multiple geographies and legal jurisdictions
•  Very strong problem solving skills that can be translated into financial structures with an emphasis on mitigating credit and transaction risks under various trade financing structures.
