Institute of Chartered Accountants - Ghana is the professional accountancy body established by an Act of Parliament to regulate the accountancy profession in Ghana.

The Institute has a vacancy for the position of a Manager, Project and Business Development and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and financial proposals for donor-funded projects
• Determines the scope of projects through consultation and investigation
• Ability to define project parameters and specifications
• Prepares costing schedules and coordinates budgets with Finance Department
• Allocates human and material resources required for execution of project tasks
• Collaborates with relevant department to set realistic project targets and timeframes
• Provides guidelines and systematic project monitoring mechanisms
• Institutes appropriate interventions to prevent monitoring mechanisms
• Institutes appropriate interventions to prevent costly delays
• Submits regular project progress updates to senior executives for decision making

Qualification Required & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration or a related discipline
• MBA in project management will be an added advantage
• A minimum of 5 years experience in project consultancy
• Expertise at writing project proposals
• Exhibit advanced proficiency in project management software
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
