A dynamic Asset Management Company in the investment banking industry seeks to employ a dedicated, experienced and results driven individual to fill the position:- Managing Director

Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

•  Ensure that day-to-day controls are established for effective, efficient and profitable conduct of the company's business
•  Manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the company
•  Ensure operations are in sync with strategy as well as take a leadership role in the establishment of performance aganist goals
•  Develops and administers operational and administrative policies, standards and practices
•  Ensure compliance with requirements of relevant regulatory bodies
•  Develops and cascades the organisation's strategy/mission statement to the staff and implements appropriate reward/recognition, coaching and corrective practices to align personnel with company goals
•  Monitors and maintains staffing level, knowledge skills attribute (KSA) expectation and motivation to fulfill organisation's requirements
•  Ensures the appraisal of staff performance and proper professional development for effective discharge of responsibilities
•  Supports the company's strategic alliances and partnerships
•  Performs other duties as may be assigned by the board of directors

Educational Qualification, work Experience and Other competencies:

•  A minimum of a university degree
•  Professional qualification in accounting or finance will be an added advantage
•  A minimum of 8 years working experience in corporate or investment banking industry
•  Familiar with Asset Management policies, systems and strategies
•  Good understanding of investment management
•  Good understanding of Risk Management
•  Good understanding of Deal structuring
