Our client is the only specialized financial institution that issues credit guarantees to banks and other finance houses to facilitate access to credit.

Our client is seeking to appoint a Managing Director. Applicants for the position must have excellent skills in credit appraisal, project monitoring, risk assessment, motivation, leadership and know your client’s requirements; a strategic thinker and appreciation of development of banking and finance business in Ghana and Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

•  To be responsible to the board for the day-to-day management of the company.
•  To lead the implementation of Board directives and policies.
•  To assist the Board augment its capital guarantee fund periodically.
•  Ensure the implementation of the company’s programmes and business plans.
•  Build partnership with financial institutions and MDA’s to appreciate its credit guarantee business.
•  To prepare periodic strategic plans for review by the Board.

 Qualifications & Experience required:

•  The ideal candidate should possess strong managerial, analytical and communication skills.
•  An advanced degree in a related field of discipline.
•  Experience in financial sector in management of financial resources, credit appraisal and analysis and aggressive marketing posture.
•  Eight years relevant experience with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior position.
