SOS-Hermann Gmeiner International College (SOS-HGIC), a project of SOS-Kinderdorf International Organisation, is seeking to employ teachers with experience in teaching the International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE) and International Baccalaureate (IB) in the following areas.

We are seeking innovative, enthusiastic and qualified teachers to join our reputable co-educational and boarding school. Applicants must be motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professionals with excellent subject knowledge and sound a understanding of the IGCSE and IB curriculum. They must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel as well as contribute to whole school developments. These positions will also involve assisting with extra-curricular activities and participating fully in the life of the school.

Mathematics:

Responsibilities will include teaching Mathematics at IGCSE and International Baccalaureate (pre-University) level

Qualification Required & Experience

The successful candidate must be:

•  A graduate in Mathematics with relevant teaching experience
•  Able to teach mathematics across the full secondary range
•  Able to teach Mathematics to the highest levels offered in the school
•  Innovative and competent in the use of technology in Mathematics teaching
•  Create a communicative classroom environment in order to build and sustain interest in the subject
•  Able to contribute significantly to attainment levels of all students
•  Able to show initiative, creativity and work independently in order to produce and generate appropriate teaching materials
•  Keen to take an active part in the development of the Mathematics Department
•  Able to work in a team

International experience would be an advantage
