Description Of Job

Reports Directly to: Head of Operations

Key Responsibilities:

•  Ongoing interventions in the provision of care directed at ensuring quality and cost efficiency of the services delivered
•  Responsible for processing of claims including authorization, adjudication, problem resolution and payment
•  To ensure all pre-authorizations of procedures are done appropriately and on time
•  Analyzing claims (including IP and OP) for validity before payment and making sure claims are paid accurately and on time
•  Facilitates appropriate training to the team of Case Management executives
•  Prepare monthly and management reports and suggests and implements loss control measures as per company's guidelines

Qualification Required & Experience

Education including specialized training:

•  Qualification in the medical field/Clinical sociology (Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery, BSc (Medicines & Surgery)
•  Three to Five years experience as Medical Officer/RMO in local hospitals or clinics OR Health insurance Company with experience in discharging all or most of the operational responsibilities mentioned above

Other Skills:

•  Computer proficiency
•  Skills on convincing and negotiation
•  Ability to work under pressure
