Job Vacancy For MFS Commercial Projects Manager
Job Summary
• The successful candidate will join our team as a Manager for MFS Commercial Projects in the Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Department.
• (S)He will report to the Director for Mobile Financial Services and will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of all MFS technical and commercial projects to ensure MFS meets set targets (subscribers and revenue).
Key Responsibilities
• Manage commercial projects assigned, develops detailed project work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Manages overall milestones from concept to delivery and assure budget targets are achieved.
• Establish and manage a tailored program/project for all commercial and technical activities within MFS.
• Lead cross-functional team development and participation on a regular basis and ensure timely execution of key milestones in support of overall project objectives.
• Identifies critical path items; anticipate needs and risks associated with project completion and drive the project to successful completion.
• Monitor, track, and report the performance of each initiative/program/project assigned.
• Establish and continually foster strong teamwork partnerships across the organization in the execution of assigned responsibilities.
• Develop, manage and execute process and procedure across Commercial to ensure operations and communications are streamlined, run efficiently, cost effectively and in a compliant manner.
• Develop and maintain strong service-oriented relationships with partners and internal technical teams.
• Monitor deadline according to established compliance guideline and partner with the Compliance Team in ensuring reports to regulators and partners are delivered on time and according to agreed SLA's.
• Participates in the development of metrics and processes to ensure successful of all MFS programs execution.
• Ensure banks maintain a 99.9% service availability to customers and implement corrective measures for banks who do not meet these SLAs.
• Be primary liaison between commercial team, technical team, and platform vendor to finalize requirements for configurations.
• Manage all pre-implementation and post-implementation testing and actual roll out of all new products.
• Support Finance / Tech teams in all discussions with Finance partners, such as Ghipss.
KPIs
• Commercial and Technical Project implementation.
• Monitoring performance of Initiatives.
• Management of Technical partners (Aggregators, Comviva, GHIPSS and integrated Banks)
Qualification Required & Experience
Academic Qualifications
• University degree in marketing, finance, accounting, or other related discipline.
• Proficiency with IT software such as Excel, Power Point, and Word is essential.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written English is essential.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate sales or corporate finance.
• Experience in Project management.
