The Ghana Immigration Service invites applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians for recruitment.

Responsibilities:

•  Manage the Local and Wide Area Networks and Communication Infrastructure for data and voice (LAN, WAN, VPN, VOICE COMMUNICATION, INTERNET, etc)
•  Will also be responsible for the smooth functioning of the Internet, E-mail and the Website
•  Monitor the LAN/WAN resources for security and performance
•  Will also be providing support and training in the application areas to users as well as the maintenance and updating of the Service's website and intranet
•  Identify and implement actions/procedures, which will improve the Performance of LAN/WAN/Internet/Intranet, etc

Qualification Required & Experience

Qualifications:

•  Must possess a Computer Science degree or equivalent qualification with at least four (4) years working experience in networking environment
•  Must have hands on experience designing and implementing LANs, WAN and must have in-depth experience in windows server operating systems (Oracle, Windows Linux)
•  Certification such as MCSE, MCDBA and Network + will be an added advantage
•  Fair knowledge of telecommunication subjects
•  Knowledge in software security tools
•  Good communication and interpersonal skills
