Marie Stopes International Ghana (MSIG) has vacancy for well-organised, client-oriented and multi tasked individuals with relevant qualification and experience to occupy the positions listed below in the organisation. MSI’s goal is to meet the needs of the underserved and dramatically improve access to the use of family planning and other reproductive health services.  MSIG is part of Marie Stopes International’s Global Partnership, which operates in over 43 countries worldwide.

Responsibilities include

•  Efficiently provide clinical services including long acting family planning methods
•  Ensure proper maintenance of all clinical and outreach products and equipment
•  Provide high quality and innovative FP/SRH services in delegated areas of duty.
•  Promote family planning through all MSIG clinical service delivery channels
•  counsel and assist clients complications at service delivery points are minimised or professionally managed when they occur
•  Oversee the work schedules of all clinical team working within the outreach team.
•  Provide core MSIG clinical services including: IUCD and implant insertion

The person must

•  Be a certified Midwife from a recognised training institution
•  Registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Ghana
•  Be well versed in Ghana Health Service clinical policies, protocols and standards
•  Be innovative in handling sexual and reproductive health issues
•  Have practical working experience in sexual and reproductive health issues
•  Have the desire to skilfully perform family planning services
•  At least years post qualification experience
•  Be prochoice

•  These are all local positions. Interested Non-Ghanaians must therefore have the necessary legal permits required to work in Ghana.
•  Qualified pensioned Midwives living in Brong Ahafo may apply to be engaged on contract
