Our client, a newly established stone quarry in Northern Ghana requires the services of a Plant Engineer for immediate employment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•   To maximize the hourly installed capacity of the Crushing Plant.
•   To develop Plant operational standards in order to improve efficiency and quality of aggregates.
•   To monitor crushing plant replacement parts and re-ordering levels required to ensure uninterrupted operation of the Crushing Plant.
•   To ensure regular preventive maintenance of Plant.
•   To compile regular milling reports as required by the Company.
•   To develop a Plant operational Manual and ensure safety operational methods of the Crushing Plant at all times
•   Monthly and Quarterly aggregates production and operational reports.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Qualification in Mechanical Engineering degree
•   Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent industry experience
•   Minimum of 10 years in the quarry and mining industry
•   People management experience
•   Demonstrated leadership skills and competency
