Purpose of role:

• To drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes by overseeing all daily operations of the plant run smoothly and effectively from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followedin order to meet business objectives.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Increasing production, maximizing the capacity of the plants and minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
• Commit to plant safety procedures and develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity, standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations of the plants
• Test and monitor plant processes
• Control costs to achieve company budget goals
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program

Qualification Required & Experience

Technical Competencies:

• Professional Degree, preferably in Construction related fields
• Proven work experience as a Plant Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a construction/ quarry field
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise for operating plants
• Knowledge of process improvement techniques
• Ability to lead root cause analysis investigations
