Title: Principal Officer, Vault Services
Reports To: Unit Head, Vault Services

Job Summary: Provide support to the Unit Head by supervising the secure storage and inventory of precious metals, stones, and fabricated products. The role involves implementing security protocols, overseeing inventory management systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day vault operations, including the secure storage and retrieval of assets.
• Ensure adherence to established security protocols and procedures for access control.
• Manage surveillance, authentication, and access control systems.
• Support with implementing fraud prevention measures and risk mitigation strategies.
• Supervise inventory management and auditing through the maintenance of accurate vault inventory records and conducting regular audits while ensuring seamless reconciliation of asset movements and tracking mechanisms.

Qualification Required & Experience

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Security Management, Finance, Risk Management, Material Science, or related fields.
• A Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in vault operations, security management, two (2) years of which should have been in a supervisory position.
• Good knowledge of gold refining, purification, and minting processes.
• Knowledge of hallmarking, fabrication techniques, and authentication procedures.
• Proficiency in using refining equipment, digital ledger technology, and tokenization protocols.
• Good data management and reporting abilities.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software and equipment operation.
