The Ghana Railway Development Authority is the designated developer of rail infrastructure and regulator in the rail sector. As part of the set-up process, the Authority has a vacancy to fill.

The Principal Public Relations Officer will coordinate and provide technical support for the administration of the Public Relations Unit.

He will specifically coordinate the implementation of the communication strategy and public education activities of the Authority; analyse information on media coverage of Authority's activities and recommends appropriate action; coordinate the celebration of national and international events and the travel arrangements for the Authority's staff and guests

Qualification Required & Experience

•  He/she must have a minimum of a Master's Degree from a recognized institution in Communication Studies, Public Relations or relevant field, be a member of the Institute of Public Relations, and have a minimum of six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) years of which should be in a senior management position in a reputable organisation
•  Excellent knowledge in Media Laws, computer proficiency, good ability to analyze and evaluate data, strategic planning, research and analytical skills, excellent Leadership, Human Relations Communication Skills, and report writing skills are required
