The University of Health and Allied Sciences was established by an Act of Parliament (Act 828 of December 2011) as a public university in Ghana. The main campus, including the central administration, is in Ho. A second campus is to be located in Hohoe. The University will run Bachelor of Science degree courses in health and allied sciences relevant to the health needs of the people of Ghana from September, 2012. Job Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above position in the Directorate of Works and Physical Development.

Key Responsibilities:
Candidates are expected to:

•  Design maintenance programme for the University
•  Prepare maintenance schedule with timelines for various units of the institution
•  Prepare estimates of maintenance
•  Ensure that works are completed to specifications

Qualification Required & Experience

Must possess:

•  Must possess a bachelor's degree in Building Technology from a recognised institution or
•  HND/Diploma in Building Technology from recognised institution

Other Requirements:

•  Degree holders must have at least 4 years continuous post qualification working experience in a University or reputable organisation
•  HND holders are expected to have at least 8 years continuous post qualification experience in a university or reputable organisation
•  Must be computer literate
