Role Purpose
Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Brands & Media, the job holder will be required to manage the product brands team and prepare (in consultation with the Marketing Manager – Brands & Media) annual product marketing plans to include objectives, strategy and its impacts on Brand health and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
• Meets frequently with the Marketing Manager – Brands & Media, to align on product road map;
• Leads brands product team to perform duties as prescribed;
• Prepares (in consultation the with Marketing Manager – Brands & Media) annual product marketing plans to include objectives, strategy and its impacts on Brand health and revenue;
• Leads product brands specialist to implement marketing activities as per their function;
• Interprets the feedback from relevant cross functional teams and converts them into action plans;
• Contributes to the development and implementation of the marketing road-map;
• Manages the business relationship with Creative and Media agencies;
• Manages the process of brand communication (advertising) development for product marketing;
• Ensures consistency and guidelines compliance of all Tigo communication;
• Works closely with the marketing team to ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A University degree in Administration, Economics, Marketing, or social sciences;
• Minimum of three (3) years relevant post National Service working experience in a Telecommunication industry or an FMCG;
• Prior experience in project management;
• Three (3) years plus experience in brand management;
• Prior experience in A&P management.
